Trena Laine had provided her Makeup Artistry and Business Coaching Program with partners The Esthetic Institute for the past 10 years to allow aspiring artists to train, equip and gain confidence with real-life makeup and hair skills, marketing tools and be job-ready in a saturated market. However, as of July 2020, Trena Laine launched her own online digital Professional Makeup Artist & Business Coaching available to anyone, anywhere, anytime with a unique method to learn, apply and not only be challenged but understand marketing, branding and develop a strong business mindset. Trena continues to support, offer guidance, mentorship and demonstrate leadership in the makeup and beauty community. Trena Laine currently still provides an exclusive package for the Esthetic Institute students.
Trena supports multiple events and hosts events herself that bring the community and industries together for good causes, awareness, and promotions. She is the Co-Host of Favs Fashion Show. Annual Fall Shows that bring an intimate evening of shopping, mingling, and fashion all for a fabulous cause. We choose unique and local charities to support and raise $$ through auction items and pop-up shops. We support local artists and provide pop-up shops to purchase local goods.
Former Chair & Founder of Dress for Success Calgary, a non-profit that provides support, styling, and clothing to women getting back into the workforce from Nov 2010 to Dec 2014. As wonderful as it was to lead the charge with a dynamic and powerful group of women here in YYC for DFSC, all good things do come to an end and Trena now focuses on supporting, volunteering, and donating to other local grass rooted charities.
