**UPDATE March 1, 2022 – As we ease out of restrictions, please note we are still continuing to be mindful and upon request, we will certainly wear a mask or just arrive with our masks if we feel necessary. We will continue to monitor as we all move along and during a season of never-ending colds/flu’s we have always and will continue to be mindful of all our Trena Laine guests and friends. Please review further down everything we have always implemented with general sterilization and cleanliness.

September 2021 – Following the announcement and clarification of Alberta’s Restriction Exemption Program (REP), Trena Laine will be continuing with makeup and hair services for all occasions.

At this time we are not eligible to participate or implement the REP, which, we are OK with as we wish not to leave anyone out from booking services with us. We are not required to ask anyone’s vaxx status or not required to provide proof of any documents, so business will be continuing as usual with us.

We fall under PERSONAL SERVICES with occupation rules.

We are able to be mobile for services as long as it’s just the client and one artist in the home.

Wedding inquiries, please do connect with us directly as there are a few things considering as currently coming to venues are accepted along with proof of vaxx or negative rapid testing.

However, please note that our current protocols on sanitation and mask-wearing all remain the same.

We have been staying updated as of September 2021 and within Alberta and the city of Calgary, we are always following all mandated/updated protocols.

We are not requesting our clients or anyone their vaccine status as these are your private medical records.

We never requested medical records before COVID and will not be implementing this.

Should a conversation occur on the status of our team’s vaccine status, we will do our best to provide within a timely manner given circumstances and obviously enough time.

Our focus over the years, before the covid virus, occurred, as we need to continue to protect ourselves from other colds, flu, viruses that also still exist.

We are continuing with our protocols of proper sterilization/cleaning and continue to wear our masks at all times.

Protecting ourselves and our clients has always been our priority even before Covid as you can imagine other illnesses that can be passed or make us vulnerable to.

We are happy to still arrive with our masks on and this conversation will happen between you and us at the time of our arrival to ensure what everyone is most comfortable with with the current restrictions.

The majority of the public spaces from hotels to photographer’s studios, we may arrive with no masks to unload and set up, however, in most cases we arrive with them on.

Rest assured, we wear a mask during the actual service of makeup and hair.
